Car Parking

The Chorlton has no parking of its own. However as we are right in the centre of Blackpool there are many alternatives available.

Hull Road has time restricted parking bays on the south side of the road. From Good Friday till 10th November parking is permitted for 1 hour between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, except on Sundays. Similar bays can be found on Coronation Street, parts of Reads Avenue and Palatine Road.  Disabled parking in these bays is not time checked, though traffic wardens (civil enforcement officers) do check blue badges are legal and in date.

At the bottom of Hull Road is the open air Pay & Display car park, YOU WILL NEED CHANGE. Prices an this and other council managed car parks encorage longer stays. Disabled parking in council car parks is restricted to the 3 hours allowed ONLY when parking in the marked bays, otherwise normal prices apply. Currently prices are

• upto 24 hours £12
• upto 48 hours £14
• upto 72 hours £17, with further reductions for longer stays.

For short overnight stays the re is a secure car park on Hornby Road (5 mins walk) charging £8.00 for an overnight stay when your vehicle is collected by 11:00. Further details can be obtained by calling 07881812708.
